ABOUT BENJI
I’m a sound designer and audio post-production professional based in East Sussex, working with producers on drama, broadcast and podcasts.
Much of my work starts with a recorded performance. I edit and clean up the dialogue, build the sound around it and bring dialogue, effects and music together in the final mix. I can take on the complete audio post-production process or work on a particular stage alongside your team.
My credits include drama for BBC Radio 4 and productions in the worlds of Doctor Who, Torchwood, Thunderbirds, Space: 1999 and Blake’s 7. I also work on broadcast promos, including having worked for promos for Sky Sports and BBC America.
I work from my own studio and have engineering experience in London recording studios. I can facilitate recording sessions, including remote sessions, and support your production from recording through to the final mix. I have literacy in multiple Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) and can easily adapt to an already established studio environment.
At the start of a project, we can talk through the creative brief, schedule, review stages and the files you need at delivery.
Alongside post-production, I edit and produce podcasts and have co-hosted the weekly Big Finish Podcast with Nicholas Briggs since 2017. Our podcast has not only got a global audience but also has had successful live performances across the UK and in the USA.

I work with Pro Tools, Reaper, Nuendo/Cubase and Logic, with tools including iZotope RX, FabFilter, Universal Audio and Altiverb.
